Admission's Policy

Bishop Keough High School seeks
to enroll young women for grades 9 through 12 who wish to be academically challenged; who want to grow spiritually; and who want to actively involve themselves in student life. Bishop Keough admits students of
any race, creed, religion, national and
ethnic origin or income group. We
admit students with a wide range of academic abilities provided that we can appropriately service them.

Admissions packets are available at the school and may be obtained by calling the school or by completing and submitting the contact form page on this website.

Prospective students and their parents are encouraged to visit Bishop Keough at our annual open house held October of each year. Admissions packets are made available to those attending. Prospective Students are also invited to spend a day at Bishop Keough "shadowing" another student. Parents may call to request this or parents may request a shadowing experience for their daughter by submitting the contact form.

Students interested in attending Bishop Keough should pre-register for the placement test. This test is held annually in December. Those who take the test at another location within the Providence Diocese may have their scores sent to Bishop Keough. The decision to accept a student is based on the student's academic performance and teacher recommendations, Decisions are made in January and applicants are notified of the decision in writing.

Applications are available as part of the admissions packet or may be completed on-line. Completed applications should be submitted with a $100 application fee. Also available on-line are transcript release forms, and the Common Recommendation form for Rhode Island Catholic High Schools.
